The Mariemont Inn
Cincinnati’s downtown convention center has a new name and a renewed building. The venue formerly called the Duke Energy Convention Center reopened in 2026 as First Financial Center. If you are attending a conference, trade show or meeting there, use the venue’s current information for the event entrance, schedule and parking details.
The Mariemont Inn is on the Village Square in Mariemont, not next to the convention center. Staying here involves a drive or ride downtown each event day. Check the route during the hours you will actually travel, and allow extra time for rush hour or major downtown events. If your schedule requires walking between your room and the venue several times a day, a downtown hotel may fit better. If you would like a distinct neighborhood to return to after sessions, Mariemont offers a different kind of base.
Once the event is over for the day, the Inn puts dinner and a walk within easy reach. The National Exemplar is located in the building, with additional restaurants around the village. The dining page has current starting points; confirm each restaurant’s hours before making evening plans.
If colleagues are traveling together, the village can also be a pleasant setting for conversation after a long day on an exhibit floor. Review room choices and contact the hotel directly about any meeting or group requirements. A stay should fit the realities of the work trip as well as the time away from it.
The Mariemont Inn The Mariemont Inn Has Two Birthdays If you have heard two different dates for the Mariemont Inn, both may be right. The building was completed in spring 1926 as part of the young Village of Mariemont. Its first work was tied to the development of the village:
